The platform formerly known as Twitter has refreshed and relaunched its "Flight School" ads education platform, and X's new "Ads Academy" is available to those who want to improve their knowledge about X ads.
X's Ads Academy aims at making the creation of more effective ad campaigns for businesses and marketers easier, with a broad spectrum of courses that provide helpful overviews of X's ad system.
X describes
Whether you are an advertising professional looking to enhance your skills or an emerging talent, X Ads Academy offers courses and learning paths tailored to your needs. Small-scale business owners to professional marketers will get connected to the uniquely receptive, influential, and affluent user base of X.
This may be X's new twist: its user base is more influential for that very reason perhaps brands should augment their ad spends on X.
That was essentially the key pitch that X owner Elon Musk made in his recent appearance at the Cannes Lions Festival, in which he proclaimed X to be "the best way to reach the most influential people on Earth".
It's difficult to tell if that's still true, but Twitter always punched above its weight in terms of reach and resonance, although it has added dramatically fewer users than most other apps. Data from X suggests it hasn't added any new users in nearly two years, so it's certainly not expanding its reach, but many influential figures remain active within the app.
Is it the best aggregation of the most influential people in the world? I'd say this is more of an industry-by-industry, niche-by-niche view, but maybe, you could get the attention of key voices there.
X's Ads Academy, not named so, apparently aims to show you how to do this, with re-skinned Flight School courses, where the "Twitter" references have been replaced with the new moniker.
Though, there still are many mentions of "Flight School" spread across its documentation, something typical of the majority of Twitter's pages.
Well, it's got a lot of Twitter and bird references to replace, so that makes sense. But just in case you're looking for what exactly this new education platform is, it's essentially Twitter Flight School.
Aside from the core courses, marketers are also certified in X Ads, and you can also earn badges that will be highlighted on your platform accounts, such as LinkedIn, so you can provide proof of your knowledge in X ads
X Ads Academy, as of the moment, has 31 courses and 4 certifications in English.
