X, Elon Musk-owned social network, changed its API pricing and limits today and revealed annual plans with a discount rate.
The company has hiked the prices of its basic API tier to $200 from $100 and has announced new limits and endpoints for that subscription plan.
We're updating our Self Serve X API with new pricing options and limits. Here's what you need to know. ????

This API now increases reads that go through it up to 15,000, and new endpoints here are like reposts of me and communities search for developers.
However, on the API comparison page and plan purchase page, the API limits are still the same as before. This is possibly an error, and the company will edit the page-it did not respond to our queries.
It will also bring its experimental read API to free tier in an announcement post. In, however it did not let anyone in on a few secrets-that the making post limit free tier limit was now cranked up all the way down from 1,500 all the way back to a minuscule 500-and Read API has got for you requests numbered 100.
X has also introduced new annual plans for Basic and Pro API tiers that are cheaper than the monthly fee that developers would have to pay. The Basic annual plan costs $2,100, while the Pro annual plan costs $54,000.
Earlier this year, the company introduced top-ups that would give an additional limit on read and post requests with a cap of 10 top-ups for the basic tier and five top-ups for the pro tier. X is now limiting developers to only two top-ups per month for both tiers.
