TikTok announced on the day a new collection of sounds and sonic textures designed as easy templates for the creation of marketing content. The assortment includes music, voiceover, and other sound cues to assist small businesses in fast and engaging content creation. The company has collaborated with Elias Audio Branding which is a subsidiary of Universal Production Music for this initiative.
Sounds is a huge element of TikTok, and therefore, it is no surprise that the company makes it easier for marketers to use sound on the platform. Sound on TikTok sparks trends and creativity, and TikTok notes that if used properly, sound can contribute to brand awareness for small businesses.
Sounds for Business are designed to help small businesses build easy, fun, and engaging content to help them show up and stand out, the company said in a blog post. With a track list of 10 custom sounds prompting the community to show off their most popular products, packing and shipping process, reasons to shop small, and other directional queues, it's easier than ever to create engaging content.
The sounds can be used in both paid and organic content in TikTok's Commercial Music Library to highlight products and attract new audiences. As cleared for commercial use on TikTok, businesses will not have to license these on their own.
The new update arrives as TikTok continues furthering its push into the field of advertising and marketing. Earlier this month, it added new targeting and boosting features for its Promote advertising tool. Given the interest of TikTok to stake its claim as an e-commerce platform, no one is surprised that it wants to build out its advertising and marketing suite.
