TikTok introduces an enhanced experience for tablets and foldable devices.

TikTok is releasing a new update of the application's UI and presentation across larger screens, and now tablets and foldable devices are due to receive their own version of the TikTok experience.
The app will be reformatted for better presentations on larger screens, which enhances the user experience for them.
The company noted that:

"Now users can view their favorite videos on larger screens, enjoy video feed clarity, streamlined navigation bars, and orientation support-a further elevation of user experiences on TikTok."

The app also plans to add more topic-based discovery features, which is another step forward for discovery in larger apps.

There will be an updated, improved version of the TikTok tablet app with a more refined video feed that can be viewed with much clarity on the larger screen, easier navigation, as well as a new slider bar both at the top and bottom of the screen, and the application should also support both landscape and portrait orientations.

It is also a great update because although most people use the app on their mobile device, providing expanded usage options across a range of platforms allows for more ways for more people to engage with TikTok content.

Tablet use might also enhance the potential for TikTok to attract even younger users-who, by definition, do not yet own a mobile device. That could also be seen as a problem, in that you might not want your kids to have access to the service, but again, it will create more opportunities for people to watch TikTok videos, on bigger screens.
