TikTok has introduced new generative AI video creation tools for marketers.

TikTok is bringing out a new AI tool for marketers, and business users can now design video clips within it Symphony Creative Studio component.
TikTok's new video development process will automatically generate TikTok-compatible video clips for you, from a product description or URL, with the system able to drag in images from the URL to build into an AI-generated video clip.

Which, presumably, will vary in outcome, but the idea is that this process makes it easier for all brands to enter TikTok without the need for video creation nous or knowledge of the platform as the videos created will be formatted in the style of popular TikTok trends.

TikTok says:

"Enter your brand's or product's data and assets, or upload them from a URL. The Symphony Creative Studio produces a variety of video options with unique layouts and scripts. These videos are inspired by the most popular content on TikTok and use licensed assets - videos, images, sounds, and avatars that come from partners like Billo and Getty Images - all cleared for commercial usage to help your content get you ready for TikTok."

You also get to add a digital voiceover, another of TikTok's relatively new AI tricks, and you'd be making clips in languages other than yours to reach new markets. You will also edit and fine-tune the outputs before deployment.

It's the newest addition to TikTok's toolkit for marketers, along with its existing script generation, idea prompts, and image-generation functions.
And pretty impressive at least in demo form while TikTok's digital avatars have already been a big hit in the Chinese market, enabling brands to run sales live streams around the clock.

There may be a little experimentation there to make sure you get what you're after, but they might be worth testing out just to see how good, or how bad, they actually are, and if you can use these AI generations to help promote your brand.

TikTok has been fairly cautious with its AI tools and resisted the temptation to roll out AI chatbots like Meta, focusing instead on more practical processes for its AI tools. A result of that could be more valuable AI options, like this one; if it works as advertised, plenty of brands will jump onto TikTok trends.
