Snapchat Introduces New Lenses and Bitmoji Features for Halloween.

Today: to celebrate spooky season, Snap has announced a new lineup of Halloween Lenses as well as some new features for Snapchat+ subscribers that could help add a touch of the season to the Snaps you send throughout the week.
The first among them: Snap's created a new range of lenses on Halloween themes, including a new one called Rune Room, which stamps runes along your walls, and there's Spooky Pet to transform your pet into what looks like a ghosty apparition.
There are such a variety of Halloween Lenses to explore, no doubt a surefire smash all the way through the celebration.
Snap also introduced five new Bitmoji costumes- cat burglar, a devil catsuit, superhero, cheerleader, 80s aerobics instructor
And that's not all as Snap recently said:

"For a limited time only, get Fantasy Wings for your Bitmoji, available only on Snapchat until November 1. Or, if dressing up isn't for you, pick from three new festive Halloween t-shirts, including two spooky graphic tees and one that simply reads 'This is my Costume.'"

At this point in broader metaverse hype, the Bitmoji's gotten an even bigger play into this effort: Snap would love to emphasize the use case for making the Bitmoji digital identity- one with hopes of facilitating future integration in experiences that come together based on individual and groups Bitmojis.

Which makes sense-over a billion Bitmoji characters have been created, and many people already use them as a digital avatar in the app. It stands to reason that at least some of those users will be keen to use their Bitmoji doppelganger as their metaverse avatar as well, and as this becomes a more habitual behavior, Snap's looking to re-angle Bitmoji fashion, in particular, as a new expression options.

Finally, there are new options for profile background, rolled out for subscribers to Snapchat plus-only thing available to its paying clientele.

I can see-I mean, is it something? Perhaps nothing much by itself, anyway, I know Snapchat+, subscriber figures are up-by which, I mean above 1.5 million paid-subscribers. Meanwhile, those backgrounds for user profile photos may not in themselves represent a lot-mind, apparently, and in every direction.

And beyond personal use, of course, there may be brand opportunities here, in using Snapchat's Halloween features to add some flair to your seasonal posts and updates. Tapping into the event can help to grab attention, and the right Lens can be a great way to lean into the theme.
