As part of this, Pinterest launched a new education platform for creators in a bid to give insights on how one could make the best of their pins, how to monetize their presence on the platforms, and much more.
The new platform will be translated in 13 languages, and guides and notes on how to use the Pins will vary, even going as far as showing how one can be featured on the editorial surfaces and how to align with some trends promoted by the platform.
Along with fact sheets on Pinterest's creator funding tools and more.
Besides that, Pinterest also developed dedicated education walk-throughs, giving you access to more specific pointers on how to do well inside the app.
And like all social apps, Pinterest has been pushing bigger on building in incentives for creators in order to maximize its in-stream content flow.
Beyond its Creator Fund, which provides the platform for cash payments to selected creators, Pinterest also pilot-tested a "Creators Rewards" program, wherein selected creators can participate in selected challenges to earn cash. It's also introduced new profile and discovery tools to help feature creators and their content in-stream.
It's the next generation of that charge, a one-stop shop for all of Pinterest's creator resources.
So while it is Pin creator-centric, there's an awful lot of good information in there for marketers, too-once you know where to look, that is. Like an interactive content calendar, with pointers on what to post each month.
It may be worth checking out, but to creators, it becomes one of the primary hubs of resources Pinterest offers that could help you get on track toward making money via Pins.
