Pinterest has seen significant growth in its international markets in its recent development. The active user count outside of the US in the Pinterest platform increased by 46% year-over-year throughout 2020. Although far behind Facebook, Pinterest now is the second-most-used social platform in the Brazilian market.
 
That opens up a whole lot of new opportunities-and Pinterest has some added usage stats on usage in the nation.

The expansion of Pin ads to Brazil marks the first move into Latin America, with a string of other countries to follow. In fact, Pinterest's Jon Kaplan said in an interview that Mexico would likely be the next country to get access to Pin ads, possibly sometime later in the year, followed by Argentina, Colombia, and Chile.
