Pinterest does point out that real-time insight isn't available for audience metrics, such as 'Total Engaged Monthly Audience' and age and gender filters. However, you'll be able to see general data on response to your Pins, every time you check in, which may be a useful guide to your Pin strategy.
It may also lead to over-optimization, and tweaking campaigns before they have been allowed to get moving.
