Pinterest is rolling out a new suite of tools designed to help businesses create Pin ad campaigns directly from their mobile devices.

New Process, creation of Pin ad campaigns from mobile will be available to help advertisers to create through easier to achieve targeting options, Pinterest said.

  According to Pinterest:

“In the last year, we’ve added a suite of self-serve tools to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to reach Pinners and measure the effectiveness of their campaigns. Now, with the ease of Mobile Ad Tools, businesses get simplified ad creation with consolidated targeting options, taking the guesswork out of setting up Promoted Pins.”

Up until now, businesses on Pinterest have had to create their campaigns from the desktop site. New options will simplify the whole process on mobile:

Businesses start advertising on mobile by selecting a Pin from their business profile and then choosing from automated or custom targeting options. After selecting Pins and targeting options, they can select the campaign duration and daily budget of the campaign, complete their billing information and then publish the ad-all from a mobile device.

Pinterest will also make campaign controls and editing options available via the mobile app, as well as performance metrics, including advertising spend, remaining campaign duration, impressions, clicks, click-through rate and saves.
The addition adds more capability to Pinterest's growing ad options, and as it edges toward 300 million active users, no doubt will help facilitate the increasing number of brands looking to expand their social media activity to the platform.

The new mobile ad tools will go live in the US this week and follow on its way worldwide.
