Pinterest has now enabled availability in Arabic on all platforms, and the platform continues to expand its language tools once again, meaning the app is now entirely available in 37 languages.
According to Pinterest:
"There are more than 475 million people that use Pinterest each month for inspiration around the world. And 57% of those Pinners use it to discover fresh ideas in a language other than English. That's why, today, we're announcing Pinterest in Arabic, that makes the platform more accessible and relevant to Pinners around the world."
Indeed, the platform now sees more than half of all user growth is coming from markets outside of the US market (37% vs. 9%), and continuing that growth is opening still more new opportunities for expansion of its ad tools along with accompanying business offerings to Pinterest.
This has been following Pinterest's assertion that the number of Pinners who selected it as their language preference increased by 48% since its release last year for Android and the web, following Arabic as a language option.
Arabic is one of the fastest-growing languages on Pinterest with more than 3.5 million searches made in Arabic every day.
Making Arabic available on all devices will also give more users more ways to engage with Pins and further boost its broader growth efforts.
Users can select Arabic as their preferred language via their phone's settings and the app follows your device's language settings by default.
