Notion seems to be closing in on public release of what many have widely referred to as its email product, Notion Mail.

In the spring, Notion acquired Skiff, a private-focused email service and app. Skiff indicated earlier that it would provide 12 months of sunset time to users so they have enough time to migrate to another email service.

Users on Reddit have been dropping hints for months that Notion is working on its email product. Some found the development environment URL, while others, allegedly found the login page to the email product.

As of this writing, when we visited mail.notion.so in the browser, "Notion Mail" briefly flashed as the page title with a mail logo. and then sent us over to Notion's main login page.

It does on mobile, however. The mail.notion.so URL redirects to notion.so/product/email… But the page shows an error message saying "Sorry, that page cannot be found."

We have reached out to Notion for comment, but the company didn't get back to use by press time.

The company seems to be expanding its productivity suite by rolling out more new products in order to move away from its primary knowledge base offering. In January this year, Notion released a standalone calendar application based on a product it acquired in Cron.

On top of that, a secure email service would be yet another offer for Notion to attract even more users, and better compete with productivity suites from bigger tech companies, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Interestingly, Notion has an event today where the company is supposedly announcing new products.
