Link-in-bio startup Linktree launched new features, such as a featured layout intended to better showcase links, fetching the latest posts from Instagram, and support for a more prominent profile picture.
During its announcement, the company mentioned that a new featured layout is awesome for highlighting certain links. To achieve this, it automatically expands with a content preview when you choose the "Featured layout" for a link from YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Instagram.

As recently as last January, the service was providing a feature automatically fetching the latest posts from YouTube and TikTok. Now, Linktree is expanding this support to Instagram, and now it can pull up to six of the latest posts and Reels from your account.

The company is also extending support for a larger profile picture. Instead of having to put up a small circular profile picture, the new feature would allow you to have a bigger image on your profile that would match your page's color scheme.

The company also introduces a new feature dubbed "Text Links" which will only display texts on the profile. According to the company, this is meant to help users in displaying information like extended bio, opening hours or what you normally write on your blog.

Linktree, which has more than 47 million users on its platform, rolled out its social commerce program in alpha with partners like Sephora, Revolve and Urban Outfitters earlier this month. The company said it will give creators commission rates through affiliate links in the range of 12-15%.
