LinkedIn is launching a new ad consideration, and sponsored posts now reach all users, presenting a new way to generate leads from your LinkedIn content .
when you publish an article from a company page to LinkedIn, you will have the possibility to share it; it will include the capacity to add a CTA button like "Unlock Article", that needs sign-up.
That gives the app another lead generation tool, which could provide a more direct way to measure response and maximize LinkedIn content performance.
LinkedIn is currently working on the feature and rolling it out to all users, with other post amplification and CTA options to be phased in over time.
Which, over time, would enable more customer connection processes, and concurrently also encourage more businesses to keep posting to LinkedIn, further increasing its use.
The CTA option is quite alike the present lead gen ads of LinkedIn, but since it is directly linked back to in-app engagement, it would be a better use for LinkedIn, and perhaps even fruitful for businesses as well.
However, this only happens if your articles are interesting enough to actually attract more of the right audience to act. The thing is, you wouldn't want just anyone to sign up for your products; ideal leads, actually, are interested in your products. But with the content, it could work as a good driver of the business connection.
LinkedIn claims that this feature is rolled out to all members but is already available only to sponsored company-authored articles.
