LinkedIn introduces a new link sticker feature to help boost traffic from your in-app updates.

Adding another way to drive external traffic through a new link sticker for images in posts, which one can place anywhere in the frame in variable sizes.
This link sticker resembles the same one available in Instagram and Facebook Stories which further provides one another avenue for a simple add another referral link into your updates.

Perhaps it's an easy new feature to play with, and with the fact that engagement on LinkedIn just gets better every day, it might turn out to be one precious alternative for traffic generation from the LinkedIn feed.
Link sticker will be available in your post creation tools- via a dedicated chain link icon, though at this stage you'll only add links via the mobile version of the app. All users, desktop or mobile, will however be able to interact with any links however, so all of LinkedIn's 850 million members will be able to tap through when they see them.

The real downside, though-not exactly small-is this platform is really, really limited in terms of any kind of color options (i.e., there are none), so you can add links to both video and image posts and further customize the text that gets displayed based on the link.

Of course, some people are going to hate the large text link on-screen, but the upfront awareness could help drive more clicks, and spark new creative approaches to your LinkedIn content.

According to LinkedIn, this new link sticker will be rolled out gradually, so you might not see it yet, but it's coming soon.
