LinkedIn Introduces a New 'Brand Safety Hub' to Oversee Audience Network Placements.

As part of its continued effort to improve brand safety in ad placement, LinkedIn today launched a new Brand Safety hub for Audience Network ads, which will enable advertisers to find out more information about LinkedIn's partner platforms and create allow and block lists to manage the same.
LinkedIn's Audience Network lets you promote outside of LinkedIn proper. More importantly, though, it reaches members via the publishing network – 'thousands of premium partner apps and sites where LinkedIn members spend time.'

The new Brad Safety hub gives control over where this happens.

According to LinkedIn:

"The hub has a link for you to download and view the list of publishers in our Audience Network, as well as enables you to create customized allow and block lists, which help to prioritize the publishers that meet your brand safety guidelines.

That will give you even more control over where your LinkedIn ads are appearing, beyond the app itself; this can help avoid unwanted placements and improve specific targeting.

You can also apply your Brand Suitability settings to Audience Network placements.

If you are already leveraging DoubleVerify to block objectionable content and achieve contextually relevant ad inventory, you can easily import and apply DV Authentic Brand Suitability and DV Custom Contextual solutions within campaigns enabled with LinkedIn Audience Network, to reach relevant professional audiences across third-party apps and sites aligned with brand needs.
It's a great add to the LinkedIn Audience Network process, with more control over placement, that will help maximize your campaign performance.

However, note also that restrictions could sometimes inhibit performance. The filtering on websites for being not quite what fits with your brand goes alongside using it more effectively on the targeting level – again, you have options with which you can exercise your option with restrictions. Most would however avoid them altogether as well because there has to be some reason as to why not to include one placement or platform or the other.
