Instagram’s new transparency tools will inform you if your content is ineligible for recommendations.

The social network is making its Account Status hub a better resource for users with professional accounts-businesses, creators etc-for information on whether or not their content is eligible to be recommended to non-followers in places such as Explore, Reels, and Feed Recommendations-or whether it violates the company's Recommendations Guidelines. According to the company, all this will be made easier to find and understand today as Instagram launches new transparency tools that will allow users to see if their photos and videos are recommended in the app.

Accounts Status was a space that Instagram introduced last year as the place you would go to in order to find out about the good standing of an account. The Account Status makes it so users can view removed content, appeal removal directly from within the app and know whether their account is vulnerable to suspension.
✅Account Status Update ✅

We are also expanding Account Status so professional accounts know if their content might be eligible to be suggested to non-followers.

How to get there: Profile -> Menu -> Settings -> Account -> Account Status pic.twitter.com/QbxjQF06vR

The new update allows you to view content or portions of your profile that will or may breach Instagram's Recommendations Guidelines. You can then edit or delete posts that are against the company's guidelines.

The company said in a blog post that we know having Instagram recommend your content to its users is a wonderful way to get in front of new fans and build your audience. That's why it's important to us that creators understand our guidelines and are able to know if something they've posted or have in their profile may be impacting their reach to non-followers. That's why we're now allowing the capability to disagree with our decision so our review team can take another look as fast as possible and continue driving forward with improvements to our detection technology.

According to Instagram, new updates are aimed to help users understand issues that happen with their accounts. It will continue to develop the Account Status hub of its social network, with new areas of the app added, such as Search and Suggested Accounts. In addition, Instagram will make more ways for the user to understand and repair the issues that may cause him not to reach a follower.

You access the Account Status hub through your profile settings by navigating to "Account" then tapping Account Status.
