Google Search's AI Overviews, which put a summary of information at the top of the page of results, is now coming to more than 100 countries and territories, the company said Monday.

Google launched the feature first in the United States in May, gradually expanding into other markets. Now, AI Overviews will reach more than 1 billion monthly global users, according to Google.

The company's roll-out will make it available in more languages to include English, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.

Since the launch of AI Overviews earlier in the year, Google has been working to improve its feature and make it that much more useful. One of the recent launches in this line is in-line links, which appear straight within the text of the AI Overviews, according to Google, driving an increased number of website traffic rather than the previous design in which text was simply drawn from sources.

Furthermore, Google also explores the ad business with the use of AI Overviews as, very recently the company published, Ads in AI Overviews are to begin appearing for relevant mobile user queries from U.S users.

AI Overviews launched badly when it fed users false and in some instances dangerous information that included instructing users to put glue on pizza. Since then, Google has been working on the feature and taking a similar feature to its Shopping page.
