Recently, the company has rolled out updates in its terms and conditions for its free-tier users. For some days, users have been getting notifications updating them regarding a change in CapCut's terms and conditions. Of course, till date, the company used to provide 1 GB of free cloud storage. From now, you'll have to pay for the same on CapCut.

I most probably post using capcut for the last time before it updates.

It will charge $2.49 a month for 100GB storage and a $7.49 per month for 1000GB storage. This will require creators to buy extra space or share their files from another cloud service.
It offered up to five collaborators on one account free, the app is now reducing that limit to two people.

From August 5th, users will be able to include one collaborator in their account of CapCut at no cost. The company has established Team Tier, or rather Team Tier package, for collaborating with more people, wherein the users have the ability to invite multiple user accounts to use the same cloud space, a company spokesperson said while talking with TechCrunch in a statement.

CapCut competitor Create app became available in 13 more countries - Brazil, Spain, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong-this year.
