Less cluttered, is the promise of the new web browser by Browser Company, Arc. To make sure you never miss that one call, so essential that you get late to that all-important meeting, the feature of "Live Calendar" began rolling out yesterday on Mac. It can be found with the latest Arc update in version 1.47.1.
A new feature is the ability to pin Google Calendar directly onto your Favorites section for easy access anytime. Once turned on, the "Live Calendar" now counts down to remind you right when a meeting is about to begin and features a "Join" button that lets you hop onto calls in one click. You can set how much advanced warning you want of the reminder setting.
The new version of Arc comes with other updates such as elegantly cleaning up the command bar by removing Shift+Enter icons which appeared after every search. A feature enabling the possibility of swiping tabs to reopen which you accidentally closed. A Picture-in-Picture mode on the Arc Search app facilitates multitasking, for example, online shopping while streaming a YouTube video.
Arc's parent company, The Browser Company, wants to build an "internet computer" for people to use. Arc just in recent times unveiled several super-convenient features, like an AI browsing agent and AI-powered summarizing tool.
The Browser Company raised $50 million March at $550 million valuation.
