Apple is warning investors that new and future products, like those it has launched and will launch, never might be as profitable as the iPhone. The company has disclosed this as it's looking to newer technologies like artificial intelligence and mixed-reality headsets.

Apple added this warning in its latest annual report under the "business risks" section, the Financial Times first reported.

"New products, services and technologies may replace or supersede existing offerings and may produce lower revenues and lower profit margins, which can materially adversely impact the company's business, results of operations and financial condition," Apple wrote in the report.

The company has been trying hard to add consumer AI into its devices so that these may compete with other prominent players, like Google or Meta. Last week alone, the company launched its batch of Apple Intelligence features in which it assured the general public of releasing more innovative features like integrating the company with ChatGPT later in months.
When it comes to the Vision Pro headset sold by the company, then this does not seem to have come well as a product where this sold less, given that the selling price at $3,499 per device is much higher and costly.
