In this increasingly AI-driven age, creative and media teams will need to use the technology to up their game in analyzing creative assets and A/B testing - or someone else will just get there first.

Alison is a new Israel-based startup that analyzes creative work, such as typeface characters, colors, sounds, and text. Then, it will give the creative team a data-driven creative brief prompt they can feed into either a generative AI production platform like Midjourney or, dare I say it, their human creative team.

This much, the company has now managed to raise a pre-seed round of $5.1 million, with investors like a16z, Crescendo Venture Partners, Cardumen Capital and yellowHEAD, among others.

As for its competitors, main ones include VidMob, Replai and Vizit, Alison AI says it can allow advertisers to "see which creative elements had the biggest impact on their competitor's creatives," for instance, says Asaf Yanai, co-founder and CEO.

It does this by processing advertising creative elements using 10+ AI models that include text recognition, sound recognition, visual recognition, sentiment recognition, etc. to detect elements of the creative.

Yanai says that AlisonAI processes now 1 billion creative elements across all social media platforms.

Alison supports at present YouTube, AdWords, AdMob, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok, and several other platforms.
